we work for you

We’re not a large company, but we do deliver big successes for our clients. Our size gives us the freedom to focus on projects intently, and craft solutions that are well thought out and effective. We don’t have interns, traffic managers, art buyers, account managers, or associate creative directors. So when you call us, you’ll be working with the chiefs, not the Indians. And we’ll tell you a little secret: Lots of people don't make good advertising happen. A few people do...

Scott Benton, Principal, Creative Director

Scott Benton began his career as an intern at StatCat in 1991. He moved on to work as a designer at AvreaFoster, and as an art director at The Promotion Network through 1996. After three years as a freelance designer, he started PrintElectric in 1999.

He has since worked with some of the top agencies in Dallas, including AvreaFoster, Michael Cory Design, DDB, Integer, Loomis, Square1, and TLP. His work for the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Strategic Investment Counsel Corporation, Nokia Theatre at Grand Prairie, and others has given him both a broad perspective and an eye for the details. His portfolio includes brand development, interactive design, advertising, business collateral, and promotional advertising.

Bruce McElroy, Principal, Account Director

Bruce’s first job in the industry was at Moroch and Associates where he handled account service for McDonalds. The polyester uniform was either a joke or he was moonlighting “client-side” — he won’t tell us. After Moroch, Bruce went on to The Richards Group, where business casual was a shirt without cufflinks. While there, Bruce worked on Corona Extra among other brands for Stan and the boys. Following his stint at Richards, he went on to explore the poetic beauty of multi-phase marketing plans, and the nuances of creating perfect creative briefs for Square One, MCC and most recently LCR Group. Over the years, he has had the opportunity to work on high-tech clients like Netier Technologies, for multi-billion dollar subsidiaries like Direct Energy as well as more image-based clients such as HUMMER, Dr Pepper and Dave & Busters. Bruce is also the only person we know who can run a five-minute mile and keep a cigarette lit.

Mark Roberts, Principal, Production Manager

Mark’s first full-time industry job was working with Scott at the advertising boot camp which was StatCat in 1992. His resume for the following few years resembles a song list from a punk rock album: Production Artist, Fuqua & Eyre Foodservice Agency (1:35); Studio Manager, The Promotion Network (2:10); Art Director, Barnes Brand in Seattle (1:10).

After this whirlwind he settled down at DDB Dallas for around 4 years as Studio Manager, then Square1 for another couple of years with the same job title. This agency shuffle has given Mark diverse experience and a lot of grey hair. But mostly a commitment to providing the best solutions for his clients, not his portfolio or some award show judge.

Mark’s take on life and work is to keep it simple and make sure there is a logo on it somewhere. Mark is the only person we know who has both a moped and a skinny girlfriend.
